Background
Otnes holds a Cand. Philol. degree in Comparative literature, and has studied French, Social Anthropology and Scandinavian languages and literature.
Work experience
Otnes has 18 years of experience as an administrator at the University of Oslo. Before coming to the University Library, she worked as Head of Administration at the Center for Multilingualism in Society across the Lifespan (MultiLing) for 8 years. She has worked as Research Coordinator and within Studies at both Faculty and Department levels, and has teaching experience from Nancy 2 University (France) and Fagerborg High School in Oslo.
In 2021, Otnes functioned as secretary for the Strategy 2030 group tasked with future exploring economic challenges at the Faculty of Humanities. In 2017, Otnes led a sub-project developing new web pages for the International Staff Mobility Office (ISMO) at UiO.
