Who is this workshop for?
- For graduate students, PhD-candidates, postdocs, and other researchers who:
- want to learn how to work with databases
- want to learn the query language SQLite
- want to learn how to manipulate data in databases using SQLite
- Participants are not required to have any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop.

Prerequisites
- Participants need to bring a laptop with a Mac, Linux, or Windows operating system (not a tablet, Chromebook, etc.) on which they have administrative privileges.
- If you do not have administrative rights on your computer, please get in contact with your local IT, to get the necessary software and tools installed.
- Please ensure to have a few specific software packages installed, which are listed with step-by-step guides in the full course description.
- There will be time for troubleshooting any issues related to installation 30 minutes before the workshop starts.
- Participants who arrive at the workshop without having installed and tested the software packages cannot participate.
Workshop format
The workshop will be held on-site in Kristine Bonnevies hus, Proteome 3627.
Registration
Please note that our registrations are operated on a first comes first-served basis, and should we receive more sign-ups by individual learners than our capacity allows, priority will be given to UiO/OUS staff and students.
