An orientation about the services offered by the University Library most relevant to PhD students.

Learning outcome

The orientation covers:

  • Resources and tools for literature search
  • Access to and use of the Theological Library
  • Relevant collections and services in other locations
  • Relevant courses offered and events hosted by the library
  • Digital research tools and the Digital Scholarship Center
  • Practical issues: loans, printing/scanning, internet access etc.
  • How to book an appointment with a librarian

Course Teacher

The course is taught by the University Library's Subject Specialist for Religion and Theology.

Target audience

The course is taught as a mandatory component of the introductory course of the PhD programme offered by the Faculty of Theology, TF9001.
