This workshop is divided into two parts:

  1. Informed consents in research project

Informed consent is the most common legal basis for research. How you design your consent will affect the whole research project life cycle – from data collection to sharing results. In this workshop, you will learn what is important to consider before you start writing information letters and consent forms, how to assure data protection, ethics, and privacy, and making the best use of research data for your project.

Learning outcomes

  • Different types of legal basis for handling research data
  • How to use «samtykkearkivet» (the consent archive)
  • What is important to consider when designing consents for research
