The Regenerative Technologies research group owns a Precious Plastic machine, from Andy Middleton, which is a Multi-Melt-Machine, incorporating a shredder, an injector, and an extruder.

The main goal of the project is about creating new value with discarded plastics. We will use a Precious Plastics machine to mold plastics into products with new uses and values.

On Friday, September 30, from 13:00 until 16:30 o’clock, the research group will show how the machine can melt plastic harvested from the ocean into something new. We will also present different types of plastics. The stage is the Informatics Library in Ole Johan Dahl’s house.

Pass by when convenient, as item production is ongoing.

Coffee and baked goods will be served.

We also hope to meet you all at Fremtiden - Forskernatt at the Science library, as some of us will proceed there.
