About the topic

Open Access is one of the ways of making research more visible, accessible and reusable. But is it economically efficient? Who is actually paying for open access publishing and where do we search for financial support when needed? In this Open Science Lunch we will talk about different financial support options to open access publishing, where to get funds and how to use Read&Publish agreements in order to publish articles open access. Grab your matpakke and join us for a short presentation on this topic by Igor Goncharenko from the Digital Scholarship Center at the University of Oslo Library, and for an open Q&A session afterwards!

About Open Science Lunch

Each last Thursday of the month at 12.00 we invite you to join us virtually for an online open lunch to hear about how to make your research more open. We will discuss research transparency and visibility, open publishing, data sharing, and more! After each short presentation we will have a Q&A session, where you can ask questions or try yourself some of the tools and solutions we will present!
