The Humanities and Social Sciences Library (HumSam), Green Office and The Knitting and drinking Oslo Student Society welcomes everyone to a cozy afternoon in the library with knitting, crocheting and conversation! Meet other students who are interested in handicrafts, and learn basic knitting and crochet techniques.
Program
- Are you a complete beginner and curious about knitting? We will teach you basic stitches!
- Are you an experienced knitter already? Knit together with others and contribute to our quilt that will eventually be hung on a wall in the library!
- Would you like to try crocheting? We'll show you!
- There will be cinnamon buns, vegan cake and hot drinks for everyone.
- Location: Lower floor, HumSam library
Donate leftover yarn!
Feel free to bring leftover yarn you have lying around and would like to donate to our leftover yarn collection. Quantity or type doesn't matter!

- Thursday 9 November: Get help fixing your wool garments.
- Friday 24 November (aka Black Friday): Christmas ornament event - we knit and crochet Christmas decorations from leftover yarn.
