- Students and external users cannot order books and periodicals that are available on open shelves, but must collect these themselves. This applies to the HumSam library, Sophus Bugge, the Theological library and the Law library.
- External users cannot order books from other libraries.
- If the book is available online, it is not possible to order a print edition from another library.
- It is not possible to order books that are only available for one-day loan or are part of reference collections that are not for loan.
