The group meets once a week to exercise speaking and hearing skills in Latin, through conversation and simple exercises.

Latin reading & speaking group
The group meets once a week to read a Latin text and talk about it in Latin. The reading group is thought as a way to combine the reading of central Latin texts with exercising and improving Latin reading skills, through a combined written/oral active/passive use of the language.

Ancient Philosophy Reading Group
The group meets once a week during term time to read and discuss ancient Greek philosophical texts. Regular participants are mostly faculty and graduate students working on ancient philosophy, but everyone with an interest in the texts being read and an ability to follow discussion of the Greek text are welcome.
