In this 90 minute course we will work through how you can share your data online by archiving them in research data archives. Why sharing and archiving data is important and beneficial will be discussed, before we consider some key preparatory tasks and then continue to review alternative data repositories. We will finish up with details on related topics such as the FAIR principles, permanent identifiers and licensing.
In the last 30 minutes, we will run a question and answer session where you will be able to ask us any questions you have about data sharing and archiving.

Researchers and research support staff from the Faculty of Humanities.

After the workshop, you:

- are familiar with related concepts such as FAIR, permanent identifiers and licensing
Setup
The course will take place on Zoom and is delivered by The University of Oslo Library as part of the Skills Development Project for data management funded by the Advisory council for e-infrastructure.
