Welcome to a sci-fi evening with quiz and film screening in the library. We will be screening Steven Spielberg's "E.T the Extra-Terrestrial" (1982). The film is actually based on an invisible friend Spielberg created when his parents were going through a divorce. E.T premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 1982 and immediately became a blockbuster. The film retained the title of "highest-grossing film" for a full 11 years.
For the occasion, we will open our unique pop-up bar "Pub at the End of the Universe" with liquid brain food and intergalactic popcorn.
The bar opens at 18:00, and the quiz lasts from 18:15-19:15. The film starts around 19:30.
