Automatic Renewals
- Loans from UB's collections are automatically renewed if there is no waiting list, for students and external users for up to 1 year, for employees no limitation.
You can also renew manually in Oria, e.g. before vacations, to avoid books being recalled when you are away. - Interlibrary loans can be renewed in Oria.
- Loans cannot be renewed if there is a waiting list.
How to renew your loans
- Sign in to Oria. Help to sign in: students and staff, OUS-employees, external users.
- Go to [My account]. From this page you have three options for renewing loans.
- 1. Choose [Renew all]
- 2. Click on [Loans] to renew and select which loans you want to renew. Then click on [Renew selected].
- 3. Click on [Loans] and click on [Renew] to the right of each individual loan.
- Check the “Status” of the loan to see if the loan has been renewed. If the loan can’t be renewed, it must be returned to the library.
